Fitness Class Descriptions

Aerobics:

Cardio Boxing: This format features a powerful series of combinations that include punches, blocks and kicks, plyometric exercises, drills and jump rope. A core-strengthening section and a cool down stretch follow this cardiovascular bonanza. All Fitness Levels

Step / Body Bar: An easy to follow step class combined with interval training using a weighted bar for building moves to strengthen and condition the body while incorporating rotation, balance and stability. All Fitness Levels

Total Body Strength: Effective strength training in a group setting. Integrated strength work is included for all muscle groups to improve muscular strength and endurance. All Fitness Levels

Triple Mix: This class is a mix of all the exercises that we love. A high intensity class consisting of floor aerobics, step training and strength conditioning. A great way to try a variety of group fitness. Intermediate Class Level

Balls of Fire: Learn new ways to keep yourself motivated during your workouts. This class uses stability balls, medicine balls and the BOSU Balance Trainer for a total-body conditioning workout. Participants will be instructed how to use the stability ball and the Bosu balance trainer. No experience necessary. All Fitness Levels

H.E.A.T: The ultimate fat-burner and sports conditioning class consisting of basic athletic strength exercises, sports drills, and the latest plyo-metric moves. Intermediate/Advanced Class

Cardio Combo: This class has segments of hi/low impact aerobics and step classes. This class may be taught in a 30/30 fashion or really mix it up with interval training. A great mix of intensity and fun. Intermediate Class level

Step2it: This class will give you 45 minutes of fun step moves, followed by 15 minutes of abdominal exercises. Just enough of what we LOVE!!! All levels with some step training

Hip Hop Dance: Learn some of the hottest moves in Hip Hop. This class provides a Cardio work out that gives a great balance between basic funk and Hip Hop dance moves. It can be enjoyed by all!!! All Fitness Levels

Abs & More: An effective and fun abdominal and back class designed to strengthen and define your core muscles. 30 minute class. All Fitness Levels

Step Basic: This class will teach you the basic moves and terminology used in all step classes. 45 minutes of step followed by 15 minutes of abdominal exercises and stretching. Beginner Level

Cardio Strength Fusion: A variety of "easy to follow" low impact movements combined with resistance, balance and core training. This marvelous mix of movement is safe and innovative with style and energy!!! Challenges and Benefits All Fitness Levels


Pilates:


Mat Pilates: A flowing Pilates mat class that will guide you through exercises that will improve your posture, balance, core strength and body awareness. Guaranteed to invigorate. All Fitness Levels

Pilates Basic: This class uses a series of exercises designed to strengthen and stretch your body with intense concentration on your abdominal muscles. These exercises combined with mental concentration and breath work will give you all the basics in creating long, lean and toned muscles. Beginner Level



Group Cycling:
(please arrive early, limited number of bikes)

Studio Cycling: This indoor cycling class is completed on a specially designed bike to simulate the thrills of outdoor riding in the safety and comfort of our Cycling Studio. This class will introduce you to a variety of levels, paying attention to speed, tempo, timing, rhythm and cadence as you learn how to work at different levels of intensity. Many training options will be explored to accommodate a variety of fitness levels. All fitness Levels


Cycle Circuit: This class will start with 30 minutes of indoor cycling in our Cycling Studio, followed by 30 minutes of strength training in our aerobic room. This class is great for those who like to cycle and enjoy resistance work. All fitness levels


Yoga:


Gentle Yoga: Yoga basics to empower and safety-proof your practice. Learn how to have fun and honor your body at the same time. Beginner level

Yoga Flow: A systematic bringing together of the mind, body and spirit through flowing movement, that evokes a feeling of "coming home." All Fitness Levels

Hot Yoga: Yoga practice in a heated room. The heat helps release the muscles and connective tissue to increase stretching and decrease toxins in the body. All fitness Levels
